Heartland Chamber Music Junior Festival is 6 exciting days of chamber music coaching, chamber orchestra and masterclasses for selected string students ages 15 and under. Students audition and are placed into small chamber ensembles where they work one-on-one with the faculty for two and one half hours daily in preparation for the final concert.
The Junior Festival is held in conjunction with the Heartland Chamber Music Festival so that students can attend all masterclasses and performances in addition to their own scheduled activities.

Heartland Chamber Music Jr. Festival is a partnership with Midwest Trust Center at JCCC.

The Heartland Chamber Music Junior Festival is made possible, in part, through the support of Associated Chamber Music Players (www.acmp.net). The mission of ACMP is to stimulate and expand the playing of chamber music for pleasure among musicians worldwide, of all backgrounds, ages and skill levels, by connecting people and supporting chamber music activities for individuals, groups and institutions.
